How I am spending my time at the moment

I have made some progress on my workbench in the last few weeks, I am getting close to being able to assemble the base and glue it to the top. I have been volunteering at Make Space North Park as a shop steward in the wood shop, having access to the machines there has really helped my workbench project along. I am looking forward to this project being done though, as much as I have enjoyed it my workspace at home doesn't feel complete without a proper bench.

We have a family vacation to Japan in a few weeks, and that is something we have all been looking forward to. We will be in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, with a short side trip to Hakone at the end. I studied Japan in grade six and I've wanted to visit ever since.
